I positioned the light lower than the subject and far to the left in order to illuminate only her face as shown in the chiaroscuro painting. The light was positioned up and pointing towards her face to also create shadows along her arm like the one in the painting. I only had trouble with the positioning of the light as I tried many times lighting the subject in different places.
