I positioned the piano and the subject so that the light reflects off of one side (natural). This is an informal photo by the musician and this photo was taken in a music room. I wanted the subject to be viewed as a proffesional so I postioned him in a confident but casual stance. This photo shoot went exactly as I planned anticipated, as I did not have to change any of my plans. I did not run into any problems during this shoot. The message that is being communicated through this photo is music and the happiness of playing music or listening to it. I had full power over my subject as I manipulated the gaze of the subject succesfully.
